Building Possibility Together

For more than two decades, I’ve been deeply involved in the day-to-day realities of running businesses. Along the way, I’ve learned that what makes sense on paper doesn’t always work quite the same way in the real world.

Businesses are built through thousands of decisions involving people, finances, operations, growth, and risk. Very few come with perfect information or one obvious answer.

That is what inspired Business in Practice.

It’s a place to explore how businesses actually work. Why some decisions succeed, why reasonable ideas sometimes fail, and how better questions, stronger systems, and thoughtful planning can build more resilient businesses.

My perspective comes from hands-on experience across finance, operations, and business administration. But experience is only part of the equation. Markets change. Technology changes. People change. Staying curious and continuing to learn matters just as much.

I don’t believe in easy answers to complicated problems. I believe in understanding the numbers, understanding the people behind them, and asking better questions before making important decisions.

Business in Practice is where I explore those questions, one real-world problem at a time.
